This session will introduce you to UCLA Fielding School of Public Health's dedication to Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI). Discover the EDI Office’s initiatives fostering an inclusive community and addressing historical issues like structural racism. Learn about programs for incoming students, including the EDI Student Committee, EDI STEPS Program, and EDI Fellowship, offering engagement and support opportunities. By the end, you'll gain insight into how UCLA Fielding ensures an inclusive and equitable academic journey for all.
This session will introduce you to the UCLA Fielding School of Public Health's Career and Professional Development Office (CPDO) and the Office of Public Health Practice (OPHP). CPDO & OPHP collaborate closely with each other, employers, and community partners to support students (and uniquely, alumni!) in every phase of their professional journey. Join to meet your community of support and learn about our wide array of strength-based, data-driven career and professional development offerings and resources.
We will also share more about the Applied Practice Experience (APEx) for MPH students and the diverse and exciting career pathways of our recent graduates across degrees and departments.
Have lunch and meet current students, staff and faculty in your department and learn more about your program's curriculum during these sessions. Rooms will be noted as they are updated.

Finish the day with an optional one-hour tour of UCLA's beautiful campus, led by a student ambassador. You can get a preview of our campus through a virtual tour.
Start your UCLA experience with an optional informal mixer with current students on Thursday, April 3 from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm at Rocco's Tavern in Westwood Village located at 1000 Gayley Avenue. You can find parking information here.
We will hold school-wide morning sessions at the Faculty Club, Morrison Room located at 480 Charles E. Young Dr E. You can find a campus map, lodging, transit and parking information here. All day permit costs vary by garage and are available at a kiosk in parking lots. Please note that we are unfortunately not able to subsidize costs associated with campus visits, including parking validation.
As Admit Day is meant for a time to begin community building with your future cohort, we kindly request that only admitted students attend our events. If you have guests that would like to accompany you on your visit, we encourage them to tour our beautiful campus or neighboring Westwood Village, filled with many restaurants and shops, and rejoin you after the day's events.
